There are several options for your dining pleasure.

A full service dining room is available to our guests at our sister resort Jaguar Reef.

Meals are served on the covered patio overlooking the beautiful, blue Caribbean Sea. The menu is changed daily and features a mix of Caribbean specialties and American fare. Fish and seafood are caught daily by local fishermen. You must try our Belizean ice creams, which include exotic fruits from Belize!

Other options include a lunch or snack at our own, poolside, Tiki Bar .

Almond Beach and Jaguar Reef Lodge are located one mile from the interesting Garifuna village of Hopkins. Hopkins has a selection of gift shops, restaurants and small bars which are popular with guests. Hopkins was recently voted "The friendliest Village in Belize" by Belize First Magazine, and nearly everyone in the village speaks English.

The local population, of around 1,000 villagers, is very much involved in the tourism business, with most family members having at least one member working in the nearby resorts However many still earn their living fishing, and you wil see their boats out in the bay.
